These are four rare Hornby GWR Great Western Railway coaches offered together to create an instant passenger train. They were originally issued in 1978. The rake comprises one R429 GWR composite coach numbered 6024, two R430 brake coaches numbered 4913 and one R454 restaurant car numbered 9578. All 4 are complete with nickel silver wheels, highly detailed chassis and full interior fitments. The coaches are all finished in the traditional GWR dark brown & yellow livery under a cream roof. All of them have been lightly run as there is a slight rail residue on the silver seal wheels. The flanges are still deep and not worn. All 4 came direct from the pre owned display shelves of a traditional model shop that has since closed down. The 4 correctly labelled individual boxes are also in near mint condition and all are complete with their internal packaging and protective display card. One has the original Beatties price sticker still affixed. These 4 items are just as good as you could ever hope to obtain and this is a great opportunity to obtain a rake of 4 coaches in one easy go!
