Hornby R057 Caledonian Railway Pug and coaches
This is the 1981 Hornby model of the Caledonian Railway 0-4-0 saddle tank engine matched to 2 Caledonian railway passenger coaches. This pairing is an ideal way to instantly obtain a perfect branch line train that is ready to go. The engine is in mint unrun condition and is finished in the instantly recognizable C & R blue livery. The RN is 270. The original box instructions and graphics card are all supplied with the locomotive. To make up the train 2 unboxed LMS Caledonian railway passenger coaches. These are in the LMS maroon livery under a grey roof with yellow markings and lettering. These have been lightly run but the wheel flanges are still deep and not worn. These are numbered 2640 and 2643 and were originally released in 1972. These model predates DCC and are probably not suitable for a conversion but nevertheless as a starter train or addition to an existing set up, this item is an inexpensive addition.
