Graham Farish N gauge 1505 BR ex SR Spitfire steam tender locomotive

This highly collectable model is the extremely hard to get hold of Graham Farish 1505 model of the BR Battle of Britain or West Country Class ex SR, pacific steam locomotive Spitfire.  The model is in mint factory fresh condition and has been shelf stored since new.  It has never seen or been on a layout and has only been test run for demonstration purposes.  This rarely available 4-6-2 locomotive is finished in BR green livery with the correct, black, multi spoked wheels.  It is absolutely stunning.  The RN is 34066 and the model was available from 1978 onwards.   The model is just a beautifully made evocative item.  The 6-wheel none corridor tender is in just as mint condition and is clearly marked with the BR icon.   It is fitted at the rear with the standard N gauge type coupling.  A small pin will need to be inserted on the locomotive draw bar as the small pressure pad that holds the draw bar in to the tender place has come adrift.  The original box is in a very tired condition because it was stored away in a cupboard whilst the model was beautifully presented in a display case.  The left hand box end flap has the original black label with the correct model number and description.  Inside the box, a cream coloured, vacuum formed, plastic surround protects the locomotive and the original paperwork is present.
