Hornby R2505 DCC Ready BR Class M7 0-4-4 steam tank locomotive

This highly collectable model is the extremely hard to get hold of Hornby Super Detail R2505 DCC ready model of the BR British Railways, ex SR  Southern Region, Class M7 steam tank locomotive.  The model is in mint factory fresh condition and has been shelf stored since new.  It has never seen or been on a layout and has only been removed from the protective tissue once and that was for our digipic.  This rarely available 0-4-4T locomotive is finished in BR all black livery and with the correct, colour multi spoked wheels, it is absolutely stunning.  This item was constructed in 2006 in the modern manner and the model, numbered 30031, is just as good as the day it was first made.  It would be impossible to obtain a better condition item.  We removed the model from the box for the digital scan and the model has all detailing exactly as it should be.  Wired handrails, hydraulic buffers and brass whistles are just 3 of the instantly recognizable features of this item.  The model is just a beautifully made evocative item.  The original box is the new Super Detail type and is in a bright, unfaded and intact condition.  It is just as good as the model it contains.  Inside the box, an undamaged cream coloured, sculptured surround protects the locomotive and the still sealed packet that contains the additional super detail items is also enclosed.  The original Hornby operating instruction sheet & DCC instructions remain with the model.  The inner box is fully contained with in an outer full length, full colour sleeve that shows the model it protects.  This model is just as good and complete as you could ever wish to obtain and in all respects it will be a lovely item for the fortunate new owner.  Please remember that this model is digital & DCC ready.
