This highly collectable model is the extremely hard to get hold of Graham Farish 1816 model of the BR, ex LMS, Duchess Class pacific steam locomotive Duchess of Hamilton. The model is in mint factory fresh condition and has been shelf stored since new. It has never seen or been on a layout and has only been test run for demonstration purposes. This rarely available 4-6-2 locomotive is finished in BR crimson livery with the correct, black, multi spoked wheels. It is absolutely stunning. The RN is 46229 and the model was available from 1982 onwards. The model is just a beautifully made evocative item and features the double chimney and wind deflectors. The 6-wheel none corridor tender is in just as mint condition and is clearly marked with the BR icon. It is fitted at the rear with the standard N gauge type coupling. The original box is in a bright, sharp, unfaded and correctly labelled condition. The left hand box end flap has the original yellow label with the correct model number and description. Inside the box, a cream coloured, vacuum formed, plastic surround protects the locomotive.
