This is the original 1995 R134 Hornby model of the 4-6-2 BR ex LMS Duchess Class steam locomotive Duchess of Norfolk. It is finished in the BR/LMS crimson livery with gold lettering and black/yellow coach lines. It features factory fitted wired handrails, multi spoked wheels and a double chimney. This is a tender powered locomotive with pick ups on the locomotive wheels for fine smooth running. The RN is 46226. The model is in the original clear plastic surround inside the original Hornby box and is complete with the original instructions numbered R134305095. The still sealed super detail pack that also contains the fireman and driver figurines remains in the box and the box is still sealed across the correctly labelled end. The models are in mint, unrun, condition and have only been demo tested to ensure they work. This model predates DCC but with a little skill, should be an easy conversion with the right Hornby chip.
