This model is the Hornby R2167 Limited Edition Great British Train Pack entitled ‘Royal Scot’. This Limited Edition high quality Train pack contains the super detail ex LNER BR British Railways A4 Class steam locomotive Lord Farringdon’ together with 3 specially produced coaches in the traditional BR maroon livery. Each coach has its own individual name board as ‘The Royal Scot’ and the 3 are numbered 4024, 4025 and 5619. Each coach has a fully fitted interior with fully glazed windows. The locomotive itself features the instantly recognizable BR garter blue livery, double chimney and colour matched multi spoked wheels. This set is in mint, factory fresh condition and all items are exactly the same as when they left the production line. The items have never been removed from the box and the digipic has therefore been taken in such a way as to preserve this status. The 8 wheel corridor tender houses the Ringfield motor and is clearly marked with the BR insignia on each side. This model is not DCC ready but could easily be converted if so desired. The models are supplied in the original box which is in a bright, sharp and fully intact condition. It is correctly labelled for the models it contains. The original Hornby instructions numbered accompany this train pack and this item would be a fantastic addition to any serious collector’s portfolio of stock. This set is also provided with the unique original Limited Edition Certificate to authenticate that this is number 277 of just 2000 models produced for worldwide distribution in 2000. In all respects you would do very well indeed to find a better-presented and fully complete example.
