Very rare item from the 1960’s and in its original box. BR Co-Co EM2 electric locomotive with RN 27000 in BR green livery. Double operating pantograph model with power pick up from the wheels or overhead catenary system. The model is in excellent condition despite being over 40 years new. The wheels still have deep flanges and the operating pantographs retract perfectly and are spring loaded for continuous collection of power from the overhead wires. Both Electra nameplates are in place and there are only minor breaks in the orange coach lines. The box is original with no inner ( it didn’t come with one anyway from new ) and the end flaps are missing from the end not viewable in the digipic. A rare locomotive and not DCC ready as you would expect!
