This is the original 1998 Hornby Toplink R2056 model of the 4-6-0 LNER Footballers Class B17/4 steam locomotive Doncaster Rovers. It is finished in the LNER green livery with gold lettering and single white boiler bands. It features factory fitted wired handrails, green multi spoked wheels and a single chimney. This is a tender powered locomotive with pick ups on the locomotive wheels for fine smooth running. The RN is 2857. The model is in the original white polystyrene surround inside the original Hornby Toplink coloured box and is complete with the original instructions numbered R205630698. The still sealed super detail pack that also contains the fireman and driver figurines remains in the box and the box is correctly labelled for the contents it contains. The models are in mint, unrun, condition and have only been demo tested to ensure they work. This rare model just predates DCC but with a little skill, should be an easy conversion with the right Hornby chip.
