This is the 1982 Hornby model of the BR Class 47 County of Norfolk diesel. This powerful Co-Co model is finished in British Rail blue livery with a light grey roof. It is powered by a type 5 Ringfield motor and has the RN 47170. It features the yellow panelled warning ends and a fully fitted cab interior. It also has the large BR white insignia and wired handrails. The model is in its original Hornby box with an undamaged polystyrene inner protective surround. The model is in mint, unrun, condition and the box is correctly labelled. This model predates DCC but with a little skill, should be an easy conversion with the right Hornby chip.
