This is the Bachmann 31962Y model of the LNER, 4-6-2 Class A4 steam locomotive Golden Shuttle. This is an individually certificated model of just 350 items produced as a Limited Edition for the retailers Rails of Sheffield. It is very rare indeed. This item was only available for 1 year in 1999. It is finished in the LNER all black wartime livery with matching single boiler bands. The motor is mounted in the locomotive and the 8-wheel tender is the corridor version. The running number is 4496 and the locomotive has the single chimney, wired handrails and unvalanced wheels. The model is mint unused, factory fresh condition. It has been test run to ensure it works. It is supplied in its original Bachmann box with the original full length graphics card, Limited Edition certificate, maintenance instructions, original guarantee, name plate pack, super detail brake rod fitment and driver/fireman figurines. The models are still in their original despatch tissue and are totally as new. The original box is correctly labelled and is the window type. The complete Bachmann box is then protected by the simulated wood Rails outer box that can just be seen in the bottom right hand corner of the digipic. The model predates DCC but should be an easy conversion with the correct Bachmann chip.
