This is the 1994 R059 Hornby Special Limited Edition model of the BR ex LNER Class A3 4-6-2 steam locomotive Pretty Polly. This model was specially commissioned by the high street retailers Beatties and is a rare piece. It is finished in the BR green livery with gold lettering and red boiler bands. At the time it was the completely retooled highly detailed model and is factory fitted with German wind defectors and the Great Northern type none corridor tender. It features factory fitted wired handrails and double chimney. This is a tender drive locomotive with & the RN is 60061. The model is in its original Hornby box with the clear plastic inner protective surround, super detail pack, Limited Edition certificate & original instructions. The models are in mint, unrun, condition and the box is correctly labelled & still sealed across the label. This rare model just predates DCC but with a little skill, should be an easy conversion with the right Hornby chip.
