This is the 2003 R2224 Hornby model of the LMS London Midland Scottish region Class 4P 2-6-4 steam locomotive. It is finished in the LMS crimson livery with gold lettering and hydraulic buffers. It is DCC ready from the factory. It is the completely retooled highly detailed model and is factory fitted with the new 5 pole skew wound motor. It features highly intricate valve gear and brass whistles. The RN is 2311. The model is in its original Hornby box with the polystyrene protective surround, full length full colour protective display card and original instructions. The model is in mint, unrun, condition and the box is correctly labelled. It is DCC ready.
