Hi again to all of those existing customers of Goodbyers and greetings to our future ones.

Specialising in high quality model railways, Goodbyers is the Ebay handle of Ken & Carol who have traded on Ebay since 2001.  Goodbyers started as a means to raise funds by selling duplicates of models held in our own collection.  This in turn allowed us to expand our own collection by using the funds to purchase yet more collectables.   Invariably, as certain individual models became hard to find, they sometimes had to be secured by the purchase of a larger collection that contained them.  The remaining surplus models then had to be disposed of and Goodbyers began to expand.

Since then, many collectors and modellers have been repeatedly drawn back to Goodbyers because of the high quality models available. This is documented on Ebay with a near 100% perfect feedback for over 2000 transactions.

Specialising in ‘OO’ models from Hornby, Bachmann, Wrenn & Triang, and the main focus is on locomotives for the collector.  There are many web and high outlets for new models but Goodbyers is a specialist centre for pre owned collectable models.  The stock is always changing and the advent of the new site allows all customers the choose the model they require and purchase it without being ’sniped’ on Ebay in the dying seconds of the auction.

Occasionally high quality models from other manufacturers become available and we also have a soft spot for the classic Triang Minic Motorways system that was discontinued in 1970.  This remains highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts wishing to have working slot cars on their working model railway layout.  Long may this continue as nothing else has replaced this unique British system’s compatibility with the Triang and Hornby model still in use today.

We detest the word ‘cheapest’ but for the quality we provide we much prefer the term ‘best value’.
